When will YOU rise up and resist tyranny?

Whether you like him or not, Alex Jones does a pretty good job summarizing the big picture here. He packs a lot into this 6 minute video. None of this is conjecture – everything he talks about is well-known, well documented public knowledge. What he presents here is just the high-profile stuff:

So, here’s an honest question for you to answer in the comments below: how far do we let the state go before we resist? I mean really resist with more than words – as in refuse to comply, fight back, take direct action*, and abandon (or suspend) our pursuit of personal comfort and convenience to take risks and make sacrifices to protect our way of life, our freedom, and ensure domestic tranquility for ourselves and future generations (our kids). When is it time to stop complaining, grumbling, and protesting, and start resisting and refusing? Again, I’m talking about action – when is it time to do something? At what point do you see yourself changing your own behavior in tangible ways that will not only alter your lifestyle, but have a real effect on the actions of the political elite in Washington and make it clear to them that there are limits to what we will tolerate? Is there such a point for you and, if so, how will you know you’ve reached it? Discuss.

*I know an Army drill sgt. who vows to physically destroy any AIT scanner truck he sees on U.S. streets per his oath to defend the Constitution against ALL enemies. He’s not a hotheaded lunatic (more than any other drill sgt.), but he says he takes his oath very seriously, and I’m pretty sure he means it.

God bless this man, and let us hope and PRAY that there are many, may more like him on active duty right now. Let us hope that there are many others in uniform who will stand up, say “HELL NO!” to any orders to impose martial law, and do whatever is necessary to obey their oath of enlistment to protect the Constitution while protecting Us the People from the depredations that his superiors would commit upon us. As a veteran who served for nearly two decades, I frequently ask the following question of current active-duty military personnel and “law enforcement” agents: “Would you obey any order by a superior to impose martial law or otherwise abridge the freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution and Bill of Rights?” Ominously, most have refused to answer the question. I do hope they know that any of them who blindly follow orders and violate their oaths of enlistment/commissioning will become “enemy combatants” in the eyes of those of us who are dedicated to preserving liberty!

    • Zerby was shot in the torso with a shotgun and handgun, then handcuffed…

…you know, just in case he refused to comply with their instructions. Oh wait – the officers didn’t issue any instructions. Oh, and he wasn’t doing anything wrong (or even suspicious). Plus, he was DEAD. What a horrible story!

This is a tragedy beyond words.

The relatives of the dead man said the neighbor was “new” and not accustomed to the dead man’s habits.

Encouraging people to rat out their friends and neighbors a la DHS is unacceptable, and a tactic that made Nazi Germany flourish. But we aren’t good at speaking up when we see injustices being perpetrated, we have been brainwashed for years not to “get involved.”

It took a few hundred years after that for the Roman Empire to completely fall apart. We have our work cut out for us!
